Position Summary
The Senior Development Operations & CRM Specialist serves as the primary administrator and internal technical specialist for EngenderHealth’s Salesforce NPSP environment and is responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination, and administration of donor operations, CRM systems, and fundraising technology platforms to ensure accurate data management, gift processing, reporting, and campaign tracking.
The role provides operational and systems coordination to fundraising, communications, and business development teams by maintaining data integrity, managing system configurations, and ensuring that donor and campaign data are processed, tracked, and reported accurately.
EngenderHealth is currently evolving and strengthening its fundraising operations infrastructure following recent system migrations and platform transitions. This role will support the ongoing development, implementation, documentation, and coordination of operational processes and fundraising systems across the development function.
The Senior Development Operations & CRM Specialist documents systems, processes, and workflows to ensure continuity, knowledge sharing, and operational resilience.
The role focuses on day-to-day execution, CRM administration, systems coordination, operational support, process implementation, and fundraising systems management while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to strengthen operational consistency, efficiency, and reporting accuracy.
The role operates with a high degree of independence within established organizational frameworks, exercising independent judgment in day-to-day systems administration and operational coordination while escalating strategic, enterprise-level, or high-risk issues as appropriate.

CRM Administration and Data Management
Serve as the primary administrator for EngenderHealth’s Salesforce NPSP environment configuration, data integrity, and maintenance
Coordinate data migration activities and maintain historical records
Perform import/export management
Develop and maintain dashboard and standard reports
Maintain data quality through ongoing review and correction
Coordinate CRM functionality related to reporting, segmentation, and operational data management needs
Document system configurations and processes
Coordinate with vendors (e.g. ThankTank, FundraiseUp)
Fundraising Technology and Platform Administration
Administer fundraising and marketing technology platforms
Manage email and digital outreach systems (e.g., MailChimp, META, Google)
Coordinate platform transitions, system testing, and data validation activities
Manage day-to-day FundraiseUp and Stripe administration and coordinate implementation and integration activities
Test and validate system updates
Maintain system configurations and access permissions
Maintain operational documentation, workflows, and process preferences across fundraising systems
Monitor fundraising systems functionality, usability, and operational efficiency and contribute to ongoing improvements
Reporting, Validation, and Operational Coordination
Generate, validate, and maintain donor, campaign, operational, and business development reports and dashboards
Prepare campaign performance reports and provide data to inform operational decision-making
Develop and maintain standard donor, campaign, and operational reports and dashboards
Validate reports for accuracy
Coordinate operational reporting, invoice processing, and financial reconciliation support
Campaign Tracking, Attribution, and Fundraising Operations
Coordinate campaign tracking and attribution processes across fundraising channels, including direct mail, email, digital fundraising, and events
Create, maintain, and manage campaign/source tracking structures within Salesforce NPSP and related fundraising platforms
Coordinate campaign data imports, segmentation, list management, and tracking workflows
Coordinate digital attribution through donation links, URLs, forms, and campaign tracking tools
Troubleshoot discrepancies related to campaign tracking and attribution standards across fundraising systems
Apply campaign tracking and attribution standards consistently across fundraising systems
Coordinate operational processes for fundraising campaigns and related data activities
Donor Operations, Gift Processing, and Reconciliation
Administer donor operations workflows related to gift processing, acknowledgements, reconciliation, and documentation
Ensure accurate gift entry and coding across all giving channels, including check, DAF, stock, wire, and digital gifts
Monitor gift processing and acknowledgement workflows, including quality control and documentation standards
Ensure donor intent, gift restrictions, attribution, and acknowledgement requirements are accurately recorded and documented
Validate classification and documentation of gifts with special tax or compliance considerations
Maintain accurate constituent records and data integrity standards
Coordinate with finance to support timely reconciliation
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
Typically 6-8 years of experience in CRM administration, development operations, fundraising operations, systems management operations, database management, or related operational support functions
Experience administering Salesforce NonProfit Success Pack (NPSP) required
Experience managing CRM systems, fundraising platforms, and donor data workflows
Experience with data imports/exports, and systems administration
Experienced supporting fundraising operations, campaign tracking, reconciliation, and reporting processes
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to adapt to evolving systems, technologies, and operational processes
Ability to troubleshoot systems issues, and support cross-functional operational needs
Experience working across teams and supporting operational coordination in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Certified Administrator strongly preferred
Working knowledge of SQL, data querying, or relational database structures preferred
Experience supporting web-based fundraising tools, forms, tracking, or integrations preferred
Experience with basic website content management or updates preferred
Experience in nonprofit fundraising or development operations
Familiarity with donor compliance, gift processing, and reconciliation requirements
Experience with digital fundraising tools, systems integrations, and marketing platforms
Experience with reporting tools, dashboards and fundraising analytics
Travel Requirements
Occasional domestic travel may be required with reasonable accommodation to support team engagement.

This position primarily involves computer-based work in a remote environment. Duties may include extended periods of computer use, participating in virtual meetings, and communicating effectively in written and spoken formats.
